At some point in Robert's life, he married a beautiful woman named Catherine Bowers and had three children with her: Edward, Julian, and Vivian. After his wife's traumatic death caused by an "accident", Robert had it covered up with the help of his best friend Dwight Haverstock.
Eventually, Robert somewhat got over his first wife's death and decided to remarry and married Sofia Bowers.
