Mia Bowers is granddaughter of Robert Bowers and Sofia Bowers. She was revealed to be the biological daughter of Vivian Bowers and US Senator Dwight Haverstock. She is also the maternal granddaughter of Catherine Bowers. She was last seen after being kidnapped by Wyatt Scott.

Mia Bowers was born on November 19, 1997 in New York City, New York. She is the adoptive daughter and biological granddaughter of Robert Bowers and Sofia Bowers. Mia is the adoptive sister and biological niece of Edward and Julian Bowers. She is the biological granddaughter of Catherine Bowers.
In 1996, Vivian Bowers was deeply depressed of grief from her mother, Catherine Bowers, death. During this time she turned to Dwight Haverstock, a US Senator and her father's best friend. Dwight and Vivian began to get closer and eventually their friendship turned romantically unknown by Vivian's family and especially Robert. Vivian had sex with Dwight which resulted in the conception of Mia. Vivian was worried about how this would look so she ended things with Dwight and tried to keep her pregnancy a secret. Vivian gave birth to a baby girl, Mia, whom she gave up immediately after birth. Robert and Sofia found out and Robert was furious with Vivian and even figured out who her father was. Robert took action immediately and told Dwight to stay away from his family and Vivian and to never contact Mia or tell the truth about the pregnancy.

Mia grew up to be a intelligent, sharp-tongued, young woman who's smarts play a role in her everyday life. After the death of Vivian, Mia began to get depressed and wanted answers to her sister's death. As Joanna showed up, her suspicions about her sister's supposed suicide began to cease and she quickly began to think that her sister was murdered.
